About Stephen Shaw

Stephen Shaw was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1981 but moved to Ireland as a child. Shaw works predominantly in the medium of acrylic painting. Shaw completed a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication at the University of Ulster, College of Art & Deign Belfast in 2006. Since graduating he has worked for several years as a graphic designer in Dublin where he currently resides. Early in 2015 is when he decided to take up painting in his spare time and evenings.
